God is more Holy than we can imagine. He is so Holy, that the sinful nature of humans is an abomination to Him. God required the people of Israel to go to great and specific lengths to cleanse themselves just so that He could be close to them in Old Testament times1. He is so Holy, and we are so unholy, that to do one thing out of order could result in being immediately struck dead2. Our sinful nature separates us from God3. However, He loves us so much and wants us so much, that He had a rescue plan from the very beginning. He knew we would fall into sin when He created us along with the One who would eventually save us from that sin, the One whose life is the light of men, Jesus Christ. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not understand it. Jesus is the Eternal Word.4

Since we know God is unchanging, He still dislikes sin as much as He did in Old Testament times.5 He left us only a few rules, knowing we would still have a hard time following just those ten!6 Which we do! Thankfully, if we have the right heart towards sin, it won’t destroy our soul and have us end up in hell. All we have to do is realize that we are sinful beings in need of repentance, and that salvation comes from the grace of God through our faith in Jesus Christ.7

Jesus tried to make it simple for us, because He came here for the purpose of revealing Himself to us as the Key to Heaven. All He wants us to do is confess with our hearts, and our mouths, that we believe in Him and that He really did come here, died on the cross to atone for our sins, and was raised in three days from the dead.8 Jesus prayed the most beautiful prayer in history for us to God, the High Priestly Prayer, then He sacrificed Himself so that we can be finally free from the shackles of sin and hell.9 Has there ever been a greater gift?

You don’t have to have anyone around when you say it and feel it, because God knows when He is being called.10 Have you confessed your belief in Jesus Christ yet? Does He know that He is your Great Shepherd, your King of kings and Lord of lords?11 Do not delay in reaching out to Him today because there really is an eternal life in Heaven available, but it is not for everyone, it is only for those Jesus Christ makes known to the Father. He will decide who will pass through Heaven’s Gate, and He wants each and every one of us to be able to do so.12

Jesus Christ, our Great Teacher and Redeemer is the only key we need for that gate, that narrow door to Heaven, and He is waiting for you to call on Him and belong to Him today. He mentioned the narrow door or gate for a reason, so be sure not to miss out on passing through!13 I love you and hopefully we will meet in the great and glorious future, when the new heaven and new earth are finally upon us!14 God bless!

Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only name by which we can be saved from eternal destruction
